Teenage Holiday Program

Interested in fun and engaging day trip excursions?

Active Moreland provides fun and interactive themed day excursions all around Victoria. Participants are transported by shuttle bus to and from various stops in Brunswick, Coburg, Glenroy, Fawkner and Oak Park.

Bookings and pre-payments are essential to confirm your teenager's place in the Teenage Holiday Program. Details as follows:

Date: Monday 8 April – Friday 12 April 2019

Applicable for: Teenagers aged 12 to 16 years old*

Cost: $30 per day. BYO lunch and snacks for the day.

*The program caters for 18 young people 

Program aims:

  • To engage young people with their own local community
  • Increase social connection between young people
  • Promote physical activity and healthy living
  • Provide a safe and enjoyable environment for young people on the school holidays

Fun-Filled Friday Finale

Get to know everyone on the Teenage Holiday Program with a fun filled first day of activities. Head to Reading Cinemas, Epping to watch a latest new release followed by an afternoon of games at Adventure Mini-Golf in Bundoora. 

Discover the magic of the moving image at ACMI in Federation Square. Explore the collection of film, television, videogames, virtual reality and digital art in the interactive ScreenWorlds exhibition.In the afternoon, use the day’s inspiration to create your very own Stop Motion animation at Coburg Library. 


Road trip to Anglesea for a day of adventure! Enjoy mountain biking on a course suited to your experience level and finish off the day with the epic adrenaline-inducing Giant Swing at Anglesea Recreation Camp.

Explore your own local community of Moreland while learning some new skills in a fun fitness experience hosted by the newly re-opened Oak Park Sports & Aquatic Centre. In the afternoon, test your limits on the challenging TV-inspired NinjaX course and Clip n Climb session at CoClimb, Coburg. 

Say goodbye to the last day of the Teenage Holiday Program with some fun at Airborn Indoor Trampoline Park. Relax and hang out at Oxygen Youth Space, Coburg for an afternoon of basketball, pool table, ping pong, arcade machine, WIFI, Playstation & Xbox, board games and more

Please Note:

*On Wednesday 11th April, we encourage all participants on the program to opt in for additional FREE activities to celebrate Victorian Youth Week hosted by Headspace Glenroy from 3:30pm-6pm. We are offering a drop off shuttle bus service from our program straight to Headspace. Join in on an afternoon of socialising, chilling out and trying something new!

Victorian Youth Week activities include:

3:30-4:30pm – Games, Board Games & Giant Games!

4:30-5:00pm – Yoga & Mindfulness

5:00-6:00pm – Jackbox Group Games & Prizes

This activity is hosted solely by Headspace. Active Moreland program leaders will not be present for these activities and shuttle bus service will not be available to take participants home after 3:30pm. Participants must organise their own way home from Headspace and must have permission granted on their registration to be left unsupervised at the bus stop.
