Netball courts

The future of netball in Moreland

The Victorian Government’s new $9.6 million Inner City Netball Program is building 64 competition compliant netball courts in inner-Melbourne, ensuring nobody is turned away from playing the game they love.

Projects that are completed include:

Refurbishment of the Martin Reserve netball courts.

Projects that are underway include:

Cole Reserve, Pascoe Vale (2 courts)

Mutton Reserve, Fawkner (8 courts)

The good news is there’s more to come with even more clubs, associations and schools in Moreland set to benefit from the program, which will cater for the growing demand for sports like netball by building multicourt facilities where they are needed most.

Council is currently working with a consultant to design and construct courts at:

Morris Reserve, Pascoe Vale South (2 courts)

JP Fawkner Reserve, Oak Park (2 courts)

Sewell Reserve, Glenroy (4 courts)

For more information check the Sport and Recreation webpage for regular updates or email Sport and Recreation Victoria.
