Elite Tennis and Moreland Tennis Academy are committed to regular training and education of staff and volunteers. The Club focusses on diversity, cultural safety and how-to empower all students.

Set up by Lynton Joseph, the Elite Tennis Academy/Moreland Tennis Academy has been providing leading tennis programs for over three decades and combines knowledge and experience from qualified staff.

One of the programs delivered at the Academy is a social tennis night called Gay, Play and Stay (this name was created by one of the participants), it is a social tennis night for people from the LGBTIQ community, but it is also for family and friends. The night consists of Social Tennis, followed by a BBQ and lots of laughter and storytelling. The Club provides a safe environment where people feel comfortable just to be themselves, and learn how to play tennis, and make new friends. This event was introduced in 2017, after a request from a member of the community. After planning and discussions about the event and how it would be run, it was up and running. It provides a safe place for people from a marginalised group to play tennis in a safe environment.
